I am so incredibly thankful for my internship experience at Widseth this summer. It exceeded my expectations and was so reassuring that interior design is the job that I am meant to do. Everyone at Widseth worked so hard to make sure that my internship was packed full of learning opportunities and unique experiences to be able to get the most out of my summer.
Widseth is a full-service architecture, environmental, and surveying firm with nine offices in Minnesota and one in North Dakota. Widseth is a corporation that has been serving the Upper Midwest since 1975. With 15 unique disciplines, it’s hard to find something Widseth can’t do. There are four categories for all of the different disciplines including architecture, engineering, environmental, and surveying. Each departments takes care of a different phase on each and every project to create beautiful spaces around the Midwest. Widseth was also recognized by Prairie Business Magazine as one of the 50 Best Places to Work in 2021!
Widseth has worked on a very large variety of projects including schools, recreation facilities like ballfields, stadiums, and arenas, churches, visitor centers, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, senior living, industrial and government buildings. Widseth even works on residential projects and lots of bridges and roads around Minnesota. With so many disciplines within the company, Widseth can take care of a project from start to finish.
